Admission Guidelines for LKG, UKG and STD I - V (2025-26)

Good Shepherd Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai - 600 006. (GIRLS ONLY)

Eligibility:

  • Admissions for LKG, UKG and STD I - V at Good Shepherd Mat. Hr. Sec. School is open for GIRLS ONLY
  • To apply for LKG, UKG and STD I - V admissions the child must fulfil the minimum age requirement
LKG 3 years completed by 31 December 2024
UKG 4 years completed by 31 December 2024
STD I 5 Years completed by 31 December 2024.
STD II 6 Years completed by 31 December 2024.
STD III 7 Years completed by 31 December 2024.
STD IV 8 Years completed by 31 December 2024.
STD V 9 Years completed by 31 December 2024.

Issue of Application

  • Apply online from Nov 18th,2024 to Nov 25th,2024
  • Application form will be available on the website(www.goodshepherdschools.org) at a cost of Rs.300/-

Submission of Application

Duly filled application and the documents below may be submitted online along with the following particulars

  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Copy of Address proof
  • Copy of Community Certificate (If Applicable)
  • Passport Size Photo
  • Copy of Income/ Salary Certificate of parent/s
  • Proof of payment towards Application form
  • Copy of Aadhar card
  • Copy of Baptism certificate (if applicable)
  • Copy of father’s and mother’s Aadhar card

Interview process

If the candidate qualifies the required criteria for admission, the date and time of the Interview with the Admission Committee will be intimated via email.

Admission Process

If the candidate is granted provisional admission for LKG, UKG and STD I - V, you will be required to make the fee payment to complete the enrolment process at the School Office.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Good Shepherd Matriculation Higher Secondary School reserves the right to cancel the admission / registration of the student during any period of the academic session. Once the student admission process is completed, no refund of fees to the student would be entertained.

If the parent chooses to withdraw the admission of the student from the school for any reason whatsoever, no refund of the amount paid would be given back.

If for any reason, the parent / student has paid in excess of the required amount at any time during the academic session either by credit/debit card, Electronic Fund Transfer or cash, the excess fee amount collected would be adjusted against the ensuing term payments.
