Good Shepherd Matriculation Higher Secondary
Good Shepherd School trains students of Std VIII – IX for NCC. Cadets are enrolled for institutional training. This training provides a chance to develop leadership qualities. NCC is a unit of the “Army wing”. They undergo training at various camps – Annual training camp, trekking, combined annual training camp, national integration camp, etc. They are taught subjects like home nursing and first aid, drill, weapon training and yoga, to improve physical and mental ability and to be dynamic. At the end of the second year, cadets take up ‘A’ Certificate Examination and are graded according to their performance.
Every Academic year, students are selected for RSP (Road Safety Patrol) and are trained to control the traffic. They create awareness to other students and parents regarding Road Safety Rules and the necessity to follow it. Every year, our students participate in the Republic Day Parade held at Marina. They take part in various competitions like Quiz, Essay writing, Poetry writing, Model making and Drawing. These skills help them to be disciplined and responsible citizens of tomorrow.
